Goat is considered a novelty protein (not typically feed) and therefore good for dogs that may be allergic to more common proteins. Goat is also lower in fat and sodium compared to other proteins.

Goat Liver is a a very good source of Protein, Vitamin A, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B12, Iron, Zinc, Copper and Selenium. It is also a good source of Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus and Manganese.

Goat Liver is dehydrated in thin strips and can be broken relatively easily when stored correct in glass jars or air tight containers.

Liver in terms of your dogs diet should not make up more than 5% of their diet so use sparingly as a treat or part of their diet. Any more can cause an imbalance and may lead to soft or runny poops.

Chewing rate is relatively quick for most dogs.
